CHARLES E. RAY, ESQUIRE

Charles E. Ray is a licensed attorney in the State of New Jersey and a lecturer in the Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. 

At Rider University, Charles teaches legal studies courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in Law & Ethics. He also serves as the faculty advisor to the Law and Justice Society at Rider University and he is the Assistant Director of the Aspiring Accounting Professionals Program. 

In 2019, Charles was awarded the “Rising Star” distinction by the Hunterdon County Bar Association for his efforts as a practicing attorney. In 2021 Charles was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Kappa Epsilon Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi for his service to students pursuing careers as Financial Information Professionals. 

Charles has studied abroad in Africa, twice. As an undergraduate student, he traveled to Ghana where he studied law & society at the University of Accra. And as a graduate student he traveled to South Africa where he studied constitutional law at the University of Pretoria. His hobbies include working out, playing chess, and riding his Me-Movers & Trikkes.
